The kids and I finally made it out to visit the camp! We tried to pick a day that wasn't supposed to be so hot - instead we got a day when it rained the whole time we were there. We did get to see several amazingly patient and hard working camp staff and friends, so it all worked out! Tyler got to play in the puddles, pester any camp staff member who would play with him, eat a camp corn dog for lunch, play in the camp store, and help the cook sprinkle chocolate chips on the banana bars for dinner (he looked so cute wearing his plastic food serving gloves, but I missed that photo!). Hannah slept thru most of the camp office summer chaos and then enjoyed being passed around to see everyone before going home. It was a fun visit - I think life is hectic with 2 kids at home, but I quickly forget just how busy life is at camp. Reminds me of a busy bee hive!
I told Tyler he could pick one toy from the store - and out of everything he picks...a bouncy ball - go figure!! Here he is with Michelle and showing off his new toy.
