The last weekend of July was a busy pool weekend. Grandma Janelle watched Hannah for us Saturday afternoon so Adam and I could spend some quality time with Tyler at the water park in Ames. Adam hadn't been there before and Tyler is now tall enough to walk all around the wade pool and much more adventurous this year, so it was a lot of fun. Tyler's favorite part was riding on the tubes down the lazy river. Then Mom & Dad took turns going down the "big kid" water slide while Tyler swam with one of us in the big lap pool - so we had time to really check out the entire water park and have a blast! Guess who fell asleep in the car before we could get through the DQ drive-up for our afternoon snack??
Then on Sunday night our church reserved the Boone Pool for a family swim night. Hannah stayed home with Dad this time and Tyler and I went to swim with friends from church. Actually Tyler had fun swimming with Juliana and her Dad and that let Mommy have time to chat with her friends!! Great summer fun!
